Also see the Walnut Creek Civic Arts site for other classes beginning in January.

Greetings Textilians,

I am teaching several workshops this coming season.

The first is Feb. 9 & 10, at the Walnut Creek Civic Arts Center:
We will focus on Itajime and carved clamp resist
We will produce samples and scarves with resist scouring and madder, a natural indigo vat, and experiments with fiber reactive dye and discharge

I will offer a 4 day shibori intensive in Sonoma county at the studio of Cheryl Brasswell, April 26-29

For a wonderful working vacation join me on Whidbey Island off of Seattle, July 22-26 at the PacificNorthwest Art Center
We will use direct application and shibori with natural dyes. We will experiment with thickened mordants and lemon juice mordant discharge

Hope to See You!

Ana Lisa
