Diablo Weavers Guild meets in Walnut Creek, usually on the third or fourth Friday of the month from September through June, 10:00 am until noon or a little later. We do not meet in July and August.

New members and guests are welcome. 
In September, December and June we meet at a member's home. Other meetings are usually held at the Thurman Casey Library in Walnut Creek (Ygnacio Valley Library).

Meeting location

Dues for the 2018-19 year, September - June, are $30 per person; $40 per family. If joining half way through the year, dues are $15.

December Meeting

Friday December14, 2018, 11:00 am at Vilija's

Our December meeting will be our annual potluck luncheon and small gift exchange. Please bring a dish to share and a small gift if you would like to participate in the exchange. We begin at 11:00 at Vilija's home in Clayton. If you need directions please contact Vilija or Carol, at

We will have a short meeting with announcements and sharing, followed by lunch, visiting and the gift exchange.

CNCH Conference Registration Opens January 15

The CNCH Conference for 2019 will be held at Sonoma State University, June 20-23. Registration opens January 15, 2019 at 9:00 am. Although registration is open until March 15, it is likely that many workshops will fill up early.

The registration fee includes workshop, lodging and meals, and parking. A Companion registration is also available for lodging and meals. See the CNCH website for details about events at the conference and workshop options.

Windrush Farm classes

Windrush Farm, in a lovely rural setting near Petaluma, has fiber arts classes in spinning, dyeing, carding and more. They encourage weavers to learn some of these skills.
