Textile Travels in Guatemala March 2020 Join us for an adventure in Guatemala, sharing creative ideas together with rural partner artisans for a trip that is truly mutually-beneficial for international participants and local artisans alike. $100 off for signing up with a friend (each participant) March 12-20: Topics include but not limited to natural dyes, warp ikat, backstrap weft brocade, and embroidery. This portion includes visits/stays in Antigua, San Antonio Aguas Calientes, Sumpango, Chichicastenango, and Lake Atitlán (several villages). $1950 per person. March 19-25: This adventure features rural villages, colorful markets, homecooked regional specialties in weavers’ homes, and breath-taking nature. Visits/stays include Antigua, Cobán and its surroundings (2+ villages), Semuc Champey, and hopefully some quetzal sightings. $1750 per person. Minimum 4 participants for each itinerary.
